Privacy & Cookies
Last updated: November 5, 2026
The short version: this site doesn't track you, doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and doesn't sell anything about you. If you email me, I use your message only to reply and to work with you.
Who I am
fidum.dev is run by Jaunius, operating as Fidum ("I", "me"). For any privacy question, email [email protected].
What I collect
- Emails you send me. If you contact me, I receive your email address, name (if you include it) and whatever you write. That's the only personal information I actively collect.
- Basic technical data. Like nearly every website, the hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
The site has no contact forms, no accounts, no analytics trackers and no advertising.
How I use it
- To reply to you and discuss or carry out work you ask about.
- To keep records needed for invoicing, taxes or legal obligations if we work together.
- To keep the website secure and working.
I don't use your information for marketing lists, and I do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts this website and routes email sent to fidum.dev. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
- My email provider stores the emails you send me.
I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and it uses no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies. That's why there's no cookie banner.
Cloudflare, as the host, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to tell real visitors apart from bots. It doesn't track you across other sites and expires quickly. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work.
If this ever changes, for example by adding analytics, I'll update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep emails for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for as long as required for business and tax records. You can ask me to delete your messages at any time, unless I'm legally required to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or ask how it's used. Depending on where you live (for example California, or the EU/UK), you may have additional rights under local law. Email [email protected] and I'll respond within 30 days. I won't treat you differently for making a request.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but I take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Children
This site is meant for businesses. I don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
